A fixed-scope fix for broken HubSpot attribution
The Fix is a one-time engagement that repairs specific attribution problems in your own GTM, HubSpot and GA4 accounts. The scope and price are agreed before any work starts, usually from the fix plan in your audit. Most fix projects complete within 1 to 2 weeks, and you get a working fix plus written notes on what changed and why.

This is for you if
- →Teams that have an audit report or a clearly diagnosed problem and want it fixed, not discussed
- →B2B companies running Google Ads, LinkedIn or Meta campaigns where HubSpot cannot say which campaigns produced pipeline
- →Marketing teams without an in-house engineer who can work in GTM, HubSpot forms and ad platform APIs at the same time
- →Companies launching a new HubSpot instance or website that need tracking built correctly the first time
Signs you need this
- →HubSpot shows a large share of Direct traffic because embedded forms strip UTMs. See HubSpot form UTMs missing.
- →GA4 conversions do not match HubSpot leads because the session breaks between domains. See cross-domain tracking.
- →Google Ads cannot see which leads became customers. See offline conversions missing.
- →Server-side GTM stopped sending data after a platform update and nobody noticed for weeks.
- →A new HubSpot instance needs tracking built from scratch.
What the work covers
Form and UTM capture repair
Hidden fields, embed changes or script fixes so every form submission keeps its UTMs and click IDs, including booking tools and pop-ups.
Cross-domain and redirect fixes
Session and cookie continuity across your marketing site, app, docs and booking domains, and redirects that keep query parameters.
Ad platform conversion feedback
Offline conversions or Conversions API setup for Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn, so they learn from qualified leads instead of form fills. See Offline Conversions.
Server-side GTM repair or rebuild
A broken server container fixed, or rebuilt with GA4 and Meta Conversions API routing. See Server-Side Tracking.
Test log
Every fix tested with tagged visits and test submissions, with the resulting HubSpot records and ad platform events recorded as evidence.
Written documentation
What was broken, what I changed, where it lives and why. Written so your team or any future consultant can pick it up.
Three steps
Agree scope and price
We start from the audit fix plan, or a diagnosed problem. You get a written scope and a fixed price before I touch anything.
I fix it in your accounts
Work happens in your own GTM, HubSpot, GA4 and ad accounts. Changes go out in tested, versioned steps, not one big switch.
Test, document, hand over
I re-run the tests that found the problem, show you the clean result, and hand over the documentation.
Typical scope
- Price
- Fixed, agreed in writing before any work starts
- Timeline
- Most fix projects complete within 1 to 2 weeks
- Single broken integration
- Typically 2 to 5 hours of work, e.g. UTMs stripped by an embedded HubSpot form
- Server-side GTM rebuild
- 15 to 20 hours, including Meta Conversions API and GA4 routing
- Where the work happens
- Your own GTM, HubSpot, GA4 and ad accounts. You own everything.
If I find something outside the agreed scope while fixing, I tell you and price it separately. Nothing gets added to the bill without your approval.
At the end you have
- →The specific problems in the scope are fixed and tested, with evidence
- →New contacts arrive in HubSpot with the source they actually came from
- →Written documentation of every change, in tools your team already uses
- →No new platform to pay for and no lock-in

Why HubSpot shows 60%+ Direct traffic (and how to find the leak in 30 minutes)
High Direct traffic in HubSpot is almost always a tracking leak, not real direct visits. A 30-minute test plan to find which of the 7 usual causes is yours.

Usually yes. The Attribution Audit finds every leak and prices each fix, so you only pay to fix what matters. If the problem is already clearly diagnosed, for example one form that drops UTMs, tell me and I will say whether it can be scoped without an audit.
Most fix projects complete within 1 to 2 weeks. A single broken integration, such as UTMs being stripped by an embedded HubSpot form, is typically 2 to 5 hours of work. A server-side GTM rebuild with Meta Conversions API and GA4 routing is 15 to 20 hours. The scope and price are fixed before I start.
Nothing breaks. Every fix is built in your own GTM, HubSpot and GA4 accounts and comes with written notes on what changed and why. You own everything, and your team or any future consultant can continue without starting over.
Yes. The fix plan is written so a capable developer or marketing ops person can follow it. Some items, like server-side tagging or Conversions API setup, are faster with someone who has done them before, which is where I come in.
No. A fix changes how new visits and contacts are recorded from the day it goes live. Past contacts keep the source they were given. If historical cleanup matters, for example backfilling a custom source property, it can be scoped as a separate item.

HubSpot form UTMs missing
UTMs only reach a HubSpot contact if something reads them from the URL and sends them with the form. Usually something in between drops them.
