Attribution monitoring that tells you when tracking breaks

Attribution Monitoring watches your tracking continuously and alerts you when something breaks, before it shows up in your reports. When an alert fires, I find the cause and fix it. It includes monthly hands-on hours for new integrations and a quarterly attribution review, and you can try it free for 2 weeks.

Who it is for

This is for you if

  • →Companies whose attribution has been fixed and who want it to stay fixed
  • →Teams that ship new landing pages, forms and campaigns every month, each one a chance to break tracking
  • →B2B companies running paid campaigns on several ad platforms, each one changing its tracking requirements a few times a year
  • →Marketing teams with no one in-house who owns tracking day to day
Symptoms

Signs you need this

  • →You found out tracking was broken weeks after it broke, from a report that looked wrong.
  • →Direct traffic in HubSpot creeps up again a few months after a fix. See why HubSpot shows so much Direct traffic.
  • →Google Ads conversions dropped to zero for a week and bidding went with them. See offline conversions missing.
  • →A website redesign or new form tool went live and nobody checked tracking first.
  • →Each ad platform update turns into a scramble.
What I do

What the work covers

01

Automated monitoring

Your tracking is watched continuously against its own normal. When something breaks, it gets flagged before it shows up in your reports.

02

Alerts in Slack or email

Alerts go to a shared Slack channel and email, and say what broke and since when.

03

Investigation and repair

When an alert fires, I find the cause and fix it, or tell you exactly what your team needs to change if it sits in a system I do not have access to.

04

Hands-on hours for changes

A monthly block of hours for new integrations and platform changes: a new ad channel, a new form tool, a new domain, an API deprecation.

05

Quarterly attribution review

Once a quarter we look at what closed, where that pipeline came from, and what the data can and cannot support for budget decisions.

How it works

Three steps

01

Connect

Read-only access to your HubSpot, GA4 and ad accounts. Nothing is changed in your accounts to start monitoring.

02

Monitor and alert

Monitoring runs on its own. When tracking breaks, you get an alert and I start on the cause.

03

Fix and review

Problems get fixed within the included hours. Every quarter we review attribution and decide what to change next.

Scope and timeline

Typical scope

Free trial
14 days from connection, no card required. Start a free 2-week monitor
Hands-on hours
Included monthly hours, unused hours do not roll over.
Extra work
Quoted and approved before starting.
Alerts
Shared Slack channel and email
Alert response
Acknowledged within 1 business day, with a fix plan or ETA in the same reply
Attribution review
One review per quarter, with a written summary
Term
3-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days notice

Most clients move here after their first fix. Monitoring works best on a setup that has already been audited and fixed, because alerts on a broken baseline are noise.

What you get

At the end you have

  • →Tracking breaks flagged before they hit your reports, not discovered at quarter end
  • →A named engineer who already knows your setup when something changes
  • →New channels and tools wired in without breaking the existing ones
  • →A quarterly view of which campaigns produce pipeline, based on data you have reason to trust
Architecture

How the pieces connect

  1. 01
    Your stack
HubSpot, GA4, GTM, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn
  2. 02
    Monitoring
    Read-only, runs continuously
  3. 03
    Alert
Slack or email: what broke and since when
  4. 04
    Fix
    Root cause found and repaired
  5. 05
    Quarterly review
Pipeline by source, what to change next
Monitoring reads the same systems your reports do. When something breaks, an alert goes out before the gap reaches your reports.
Questions

Attribution Monitoring: common questions

Read-only access to the tools you use: HubSpot, GA4, and your Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn accounts. Nothing is changed in your accounts during the trial or by the monitoring itself.

You get a summary of everything the monitor found. Then you choose: stop, continue on Attribution Monitoring, or book the Attribution Audit or a fix for what was found. No card is taken for the trial, so nothing renews automatically.

I acknowledge it within 1 business day with a fix plan or an ETA, then fix it within the included hours. If the cause is outside my access, for example a developer changed a form on your site, I tell you what changed and exactly what needs to happen.

HubSpot stops showing most of your paid leads as Direct. Google Ads and Meta receive your real lead and customer conversions, not just form fills. You can see which campaigns produced closed deals, and you hear about breakages from an alert, not from a report that looks wrong.

Something always changes. Ad platforms update their tracking requirements, browsers tighten cookie rules, and your own team ships new pages and forms. Most tracking breaks quietly, so the question is how long it stays broken before someone notices.

I tell you before going over. Extra work is quoted and approved before I start. Bigger pieces of work, like a migration or a new server-side setup, are scoped as a separate fix.
